Product Description

Sodium Sulphite is an odorless white solid chemical with a molar mass of 126.043 g/mol and a chemical formula of Na2SO3. It has a density of 2.633 g/cm3 (anhydrous) and 1.561 g/cm3 (heptahydrate). It has a melting point of 33.4 deg C (92.1 degF ; 306.5 K) when dehydrated and 500 degC (anhydrous). Sodium Sulphite is soluble in glycerol and has a saline, sulfurous taste. It is non-flammable and insoluble in ammonia and chlorine.
